What we collect

We collect only what you send us through the contact form or by email: your name, email address, company (optional), the service you need and your message.

We do not collect IP addresses, browser details or browsing history ourselves. Cloudflare, which hosts this site, processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect it, and gives us overall visit statistics.

How we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to prepare and manage our work with you. Under section 25(1)(b) of the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, we rely on taking steps you asked for before a contract, and on our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us.

We do not send marketing emails without your consent, and we do not use your data for automated decisions or profiling.

Who sees it

We do not sell your data. Cloudflare delivers form messages and email to us, and Google stores them in our Gmail inbox. We share data with authorities only where the law requires it.

These providers may process data outside Nigeria, including in the United States. Where a destination lacks adequate protection, we rely on section 43 of the Act.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries that do not lead to work for 24 months after our last contact. We keep enquiries that lead to a contract for the length of the contract, plus 6 years.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it. You can also restrict or object to how we use it, and withdraw any consent you gave. Email hello@ailabs.com.ng, and we will reply without unreasonable delay.

You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission at any time.

Other things to know

Our website code does not set cookies. This site is for businesses and is not aimed at children. If a data breach is likely to put your rights at high risk, we will tell you and the Commission as the Act requires.
